THROUGH PURPOSE.

Our purpose is to give value to waste, in order to produce 100% recycled high-performance solutions generating a positive impact on the environment while driving the value chain in that direction. By pioneering circular economy innovations and reducing our carbon footprint, we offer materials that are not only technical but also ethically aligned with a low-impact future.

WATER

75% of water IS REUSED DURING OUR RECYCLING PROCESSES.

Water is critical in recycling paper. Only 5–10% of water is consumed in our production process, with the remainder treated and returned to nature. We operate with a biological treatment plant with both anaerobic and aerobic digesters, ensuring water is returned in a condition that supports biodiversity.

Between 2021 and 2023, we implemented a water reuse project, which included filtration and accumulation systems that now enable the company to recirculate 75% of process water.

SUSTAINABLE FOREST
 ECOSYSTEM MANAGEMENT

100% RECYCLED PAPER PROTECTS FORESTS.

We manufacture 100% recycled paper, which reduces tree felling and protects forests and their biodiversity.

LOCALLY SOURCED BIOMASS REDUCES THE RISK OF WILDFIRES.

We operate a large-scale Biomass Plant that supports both emission reduction and sustainable forest management. By using locally sourced biomass, helping mitigate wildfire risks and maintain forest health. The use of biomass not only reduces fossil fuel dependence but also contributes to rural economic development.

TOWARDS CLIMATE NEUTRALITY

98% OF CO2 DIRECT EMISSIONS ARE CUT WITH BIOMASS PLANT.

In late 2024, we launched a new biomass plant in Rosselló, the largest in Catalonia. Built in partnership with Engie, the facility produces 50 tons of steam per hour and has 36 MW of power.

100% RENEWABLE ELECTRICITY SINCE 2024.

Through green certificate purchases (GdOs), we ensure that 100% of our electricity use is from renewable sources, further reducing Scope 2 emissions.

20% of SOLAR ENERGY.

We invested in photovoltaic energy installations, which will supply 21,700 MWh/year or 20% of its electricity needs.

7,900 LESS tons of CO₂.

Additional projects of broad decarbonization strategy include energy efficiency improvements, sludge drying optimization, steam loop insulation, and in-situ biogas production. These measures cut more than 7,900 tons of CO₂.

CIRCULAR ECONOMY & WASTE RECOVERY

200,000 tons of waste FOR RECYCLED AND RECYCLABLE PAPER

The company produces 100% recycled and recyclable paper from more than 200,000 tons of paper waste per year, using as raw materials that are difficult to process, such as coated papers, laminated papers, or multi-layer packaging.

Projects such as VALORBRIK have made it possible to recover the polyethylene and aluminum from beverage carton packaging, preventing it from being sent to landfill and generating 15,000 t/year of secondary raw material.

Other initiatives, such as PAPELTEXTIL, aim to transform non-reusable textile waste into high value-added papers, and plants are being developed to recycle gypsum boards and make use of industrial waste, thus strengthening a complete circular economy model.
